2. Do I need a permit to operate? In Germany, the LANPWR 2400 Pro is classified as a balcony power plant. Since 2024, registration with the grid operator has been significantly simplified. A building permit is generally not required. However, registration in the Federal Network Agency's Market Master Data Register is recommended.
