Backup box / grid switching box for Sofar hybrid inverters

This backup box is a high-quality AC transfer unit for the safe isolation and switching between mains operation and emergency power supply. It ensures the reliable operation of hybrid inverters and enables an uninterrupted power supply in the event of a grid failure.

Features:

• Designed for grid feed-ins up to 63 A

• Emergency power and grid feedback up to 32 A

• Two relays for the neutral point bridge (PE-N) and for shifting the grounding point in case of emergency power supply

• Robust contactor technology for maximum operational reliability

  • 2× AC contactor 63 A for regular mains operation

  • 1× AC contactor 63 A for island/emergency power operation

• Integrated 32 A (20kW) AC fuse as system switch for the inverter (other fuse ratings available on request)

• 5×16 mm² terminal blocks for:

  • AC Grid

  • WR Last (AC-Load)

• Type A residual current circuit breaker, 4-pole, 40 A / 300 mA for the load circuit
