Which solar panels can I connect?

We recommend modules with 200 to 550W+ per input. The EVT-800-B has two inputs, so you can connect two modules. Thanks to the individual MPP trackers, both modules are optimally controlled, even if one of them is shaded.

How does WLAN monitoring work?

The inverter has integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Data – such as module power, yield, CO₂ savings, and error status – can be displayed in real time via the EnverView app or, optionally, via an Enverbridge communication module. The app connects to the device via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and displays the performance directly on a smartphone or tablet.

Is the inverter suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The EVT-800-B is IP67 rated, meaning it is dustproof and waterproof and can easily be installed outdoors, for example, under PV modules on the roof. It operates reliably in a temperature range of approximately -40 °C to +65 °C.

Can I connect the Envertech EVT-800-B to my existing system?

Yes, the EVT-800-B is easy to retrofit. It works with all common solar modules and is VDE-compliant. Make sure your modules are within the recommended power range of 200-550W+ per input.

What is the difference compared to my old inverter?

Unlike conventional string or central inverters, which combine many modules in series to form a string, the EVT-800-B has a separate MPPT tracker for each module. This offers crucial advantages:

• Higher yields in shading conditions, as individual modules do not "pull" the entire string.
• Increased safety due to low DC voltage below 60 V.
• Easier expansion and replacement of individual modules.
• Module monitoring at the individual module level.

In practice, this means that even if one module produces less power (e.g., due to shading), this does not affect the performance of the other modules – unlike with conventional inverters.
