The high-performance 15,36 kWh battery storage system stores your solar power for the evening and night hours. This generous capacity allows you to cover a large portion of your electricity needs yourself, even during periods of higher consumption, and minimize your reliance on grid power. The storage system is modular and can be expanded to up to 20,48 kWh if required.

Emergency power supply for critical consumers

In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to emergency power and supplies a separate circuit with energy from the battery storage. You decide which devices are important to you and should continue to be powered during a power outage.

Bifacial technology for higher yields

The Sofar BTS battery storage system is specifically designed for the Sofar HYD inverter series and guarantees optimal interaction of all components. The system requires approximately 70 m² of roof space.

How big does my roof need to be?

You will need approximately 70 m² of free roof space for the 36 solar panels. Ideally, the panels should face south, southwest, or southeast. East-west facing roofs are also possible, but will result in lower yields. Flat roofs with appropriate mounting systems are also suitable for commercial buildings.

How does the emergency power function work?

The Sofar hybrid inverter features an emergency power function. In the event of a power outage, the system automatically switches to island mode and supplies a separate emergency power circuit with energy from the battery storage. This emergency power circuit must be configured separately during installation and can, for example, protect critical equipment or entire areas.

Is the system suitable for commercial enterprises?

Yes, this system is ideal for small businesses, workshops, or offices with high electricity consumption. It is particularly advantageous for businesses with consumption outside of peak hours, as the large storage unit stores excess solar power. Can I expand the storage later?

Who is authorized to install the system?

What registrations are required?
