Facade brackets Transform unused wall space into high-yield solar panels. These robust mounting systems securely attach your solar modules to the house wall and optimally utilize vertical surfaces for power generation. Whether flat mounting parallel to the wall or elevated for better sun exposure – at PVundSO you will find the right wall bracket for your balcony power plant.

The advantages of wall mounting

Facade-mounted brackets offer unique advantages:

  • Activate untapped potential: Transforms any sunny house wall into a power source without sacrificing balcony or garden space.
  • Intelligent ventilation: A few centimeters of distance to the wall ensure better cooling and higher efficiency.
  • Take advantage of the low-angled sun: Vertically mounted wall modules capture a lot of light, especially when the sun is low in winter and in the mornings/evenings.
  • Low maintenance: High-quality aluminum and stainless steel components for decades of use

When is the facade the right place?

Wall mounting is suitable in various situations:

If space is limited elsewhere: No balcony, an unsuitable roof, and you want to keep your garden clear? Then mounting solar panels on the house wall is an alternative. They utilize vertical surfaces that would otherwise go unused.

With optimal alignment: Does your wall have a good southern orientation (southwest to southeast)? Then you can also achieve a good solar yield here.

For particularly secure fastening: Massive house walls made of concrete or solid brick provide the basis for stable fastening.

How do I mount solar panels on the wall?

There are two ways to mount a balcony power plant on the wall:

Flat wall mounting (Z-angle): This discreet solution mounts modules parallel to the wall with just a few centimeters of space between them. These Z-shaped brackets are quick to install and visually unobtrusive. The small gap to the wall ensures essential ventilation for the solar modules, thus improving their efficiency.

Variable mounting: For maximum yield, we recommend using our adjustable system. The module is attached to the wall at the top with short brackets, while longer supports at the bottom create a gap between the module and the wall. This increases the yield by up to 25% compared to vertical mounting.

This mounting system is particularly flexible: it works just as well on the wall as on the ground or on a flat roof. One system for all applications.

Installation and practical tips

When choosing fasteners, you should consider your wall type: Solid walls made of concrete, solid brick, or sand-lime brick are ideal. For insulated facades, you will need longer fasteners that reach down to the load-bearing layer.

The flat Z-angle mounting is particularly simple: four brackets are attached to the wall for each module – that's it. While the variable mounting system requires slightly more space in front of the wall, it yields significantly higher outputs.

At PVundSO, you'll find professional mounting systems made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. Our brackets are designed for decades of use and withstand all weather conditions. Our experts will be happy to advise you on selecting the right system for your project.
